Ohio's 2026 general election is coming up on November 3, 2026!

Voter Registration
The deadline to register to vote in the Ohio 2026 general election is October 5, 2026.
- Click here to check your registration or register to vote online with the Ohio Secretary of State's office. To register to vote online, you will need to provide the following information:
- Ohio driver’s license or Ohio identification card number
- Name
- Date of Birth
- Address
- Last four digits of your Social Security number
- If you are ineligible to register online, you will need to print and mail your registration form to your county board of elections office, postmarked by October 5, 2026. You will find the forms and further instructions on the Ohio Secretary of State's office here.
Early In-Person Voting
Early voting in Ohio opens October 6, 2026.
- Starting October 6th, you will be able to vote at your county's designated early in-person voting locations. Click here to find your county's early vote locations now.
- Early in-person voting locations are typically open from 8am-5pm local time on weekdays until special hours take effect approximately 10 days prior to the election (October 24, 2026 for the 2026 general election.) Please check with your local county board of elections for your county's specific locations and hours.
Absentee/Mail-In Voting
