Athens, OH - AFSCME Local 3200 (Ohio University Classified Employees) and AFSCME Local 1699 (Ohio University Employees) joined Ohio University students and faculty in the school's annual Homecoming Parade, celebrating the university's vibrant community and culture.

AFSCME Local 1699 members work in various roles across the Athens campus, including building maintenance, groundskeeping, food service, and custodial services. AFSCME Local 3200 employees are classified staff. They work in the university administration, in libraries, as department secretaries and administrative assistants.

Together, these members play an essential role in keeping Ohio University running smoothly, ensuring a safe and healthy campus for students, faculty, and the Athens community.
